Union City, Tenn.–There was a full house for the Regional Tourism Conference in Union City, with 250 tourism professionals welcoming Special Guest Governor Bill Lee.
Governor Lee said, “It was great to speak with industry leaders at the Regional Tourism Conference in Union City to share how tourism drives our rural economies & contributes to TN’s success.”
The conference has been held this week at Discovery Park of America whose officials said, “We’re thrilled to welcome the Al-Tn-Ms Rural Tourism Conference to Discovery Park this week. Tourism is a vital part of a community’s economic development. The Alabama-Mississippi-Tennessee Rural Tourism Conference is a collaborative effort focused on assisting smaller communities in strengthening tourism.”
The annual conference is hosted alternately among Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee and this year’s conference. Main Street Union City and NWTN Tourism were key in planning the event this year.
