Martin, Tenn.–Thursday marked a significant milestone in the Martin Fire & Rescue Department’s history. At 6 a.m. Thursday morning they had their first all-female engine company. Fire officials said, “While we have had women firefighters for some years now, this marks a historic first for our department.. Congratulations to (L to R) FF/Paramedic Carrie Dunn and FF/AEMT Kate Smith!”
