Springville, Tenn.–At 3:30 am this morning , the Paris Landing Volunteer Fire Department and the Henry County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to 365 Mansard Island Drive in Springville for a report of a structure fire. Arriving units found an eight-unit apartment building fully engulfed in flames and falling in. It was a total loss. The owner, James Bush stated that no one was living in the apartments at the time of the incident. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
Damage is estimated at $500,000, according to Paris Landing Fire Chief Reggie Coles. Paris Landing responded with five trucks and eight personnel. Automatic aid was received from Paris Fire Dept which sent one truck and two personnel. Units were on the scene for 4 hours.
