Paris, Tenn.–You’ll be seeing something new at the Henry County Fairgrounds–a new livestock sale barn.
The site plan for the proposed building was approved unanimously Thursday night by the Paris Municipal Regional Planning Commission and workers were busy Friday placing the materials on site. The site plan was presented by Jamison Townsend on behalf of the Henry County Fair Association.
The proposed building consists of a Sale Barn located in the rear of the property for a combined total square footage of 16,000. The existing building is to be removed, and the new building will be built in its place. The materials from the former Livestock Barn are being repurposed and re-used.
