The following is the schedule of events for this year’s Obion County Fall Fest:
Pride of Obion County
Obion County Fall Fest is celebrating this year’s Pride of Obion County LeEllen Smith, pictured at top, at noon Wednesday, October 9, at a luncheon in her honor at Discovery Park of America at noon. Tickets are $25 a person or $160 for a table of eight. For more information go to ObionCountyFallFest.com
Medallion Hunt (began September 30)
One of the favorite events of Obion County Fall Fest is one that is ongoing: the Union City Coca-Cola Medallion Hunt. The medallion winner will receive four free tickets to Dollywood, free 12 pack of Cokes for a year, $200 in cash, and other Coca Cola products. The Medallion can be found anywhere in Obion County. Clues will be released at 5pm beginning Monday, September 30th on Union City Coca Cola’s Facebook page and Obion County Fall Fest’s Facebook page.
Fall Festive Foods
FCE/Homemakers Club and Obion County Fall Fest are teaming up again for Fall Festive Foods on Monday, Oct 14th at Second Baptist Church-Union City. You can sample local recipes, vote for your favorites, take home a free cookbook, and support a great cause since proceeds will be donated to Chimes for Charity. Tickets are available now at the Obion County Public Library. Doors open at 5:30pm
Fall Fest Family Day
The Fall Fest Family Day is all FREE for the whole family. You can take in a magic show, pumpkin painting, chalk art, cake walk, and a petting zoo. Come touch a truck and learn all about service vehicles, such as a police car, fire truck and more. If you participate in our events you can be entered into a drawing to win a FREE IPad. Enjoy a variety of food at the food trucks on Saturday, October 26th at the Obion County Public Library, starting at 10 a.m. For more information go to ObionCountyFallFest.com.
Evening in the Vines
Remember to get your tickets for Obion County Fall Fest’s Evening in the Vines at White Squirrel Winery. It’s set for on Saturday, October 26th. Get dressed up and help raise money for Troy First Baptist Food Pantry. Enjoy live music by Johnny Mac of Paris, a taco bar, and an amazing silent auction. Tickets are on sale now at the Obion County Public Library until Monday, October 14th and MUST be purchased in advance. Tickets are $75 a couple so grab your friends and go. Doors open at 6.
