The Union City Kiwanis Club will recognize five UC High Schoolers with Student of the Month honors on Thursday.
Among those receiving accolades will be: (see related photo)

Junior: Deyton Buckley, son of Khala Ghamrawy
Sophomore: Ben Howell, son of Jerod and Lindsey Howell
Senior: Carmen Elam, daughter of Emmanuel Freeman and Felicia Freeman
Freshman: Jack Theobald, son of Todd Theobald and Amy Reedy
Senior Achiever: Jose Luis Cortes Lopez, son of Jose Luis Cortes and Rosario Lopez
Those recognized were chosen by UCHS faculty and staff.
The group will be formally recognized at the local civic club’s regular luncheon at noon at the Exchange Street Church of Christ.
