Paris, Tenn.–TCAT Henry/Carroll took two truckloads and a half a trailer full of bottled water to be transported to East Tennessee in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and will be taking another load Thursday.
TCAT President John Penn Ridgeway said, “Thank you for the huge outpouring of support from our community to help our neighbors in East Tennessee.”
People in the community have one more chance to donate bottled water for transport to East Tennessee.
Due to the terrible flooding, the campuses of Tennessee College of Applied Technology Henry/Carroll and Tennessee College of Applied Technology – McKenzie has been collecting bottled water for Carter County and our sister TCAT campus there.
Ridgeway said, “Please feel free to drop off your donation at either campus and we will make sure it gets to East Tennessee.”
Water is the only item requested at this time.
