Milan, Tenn.–Milan Public Utilities deployed a team to assist with outages in the East Tennessee area. At first, it was deployed to Chattanooga and then was diverted further east to the Newport area.
Officials said, “We pray for their safety and for all the utilities dealing with flooding, wind, and storm damage from Hurricane Helene. I’m thankful for our team’s willingness to respond and honored we could assist our utility partners.”
