Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Commission will hold both a special called meeting and a work session Monday afternoon at the county courthouse. The special called meeting will be held at 5 p.m., followed immediately by the work session with the county buildings and grounds committee.
Purpose of the special-called meeting: To authorize the County Mayor to hire, fire, and supervise eight new county employees (medics, ambulance drivers, and /or other employees to support ambulance service) and to authorize the County Mayor to enter into an agreement with American Medical Response (AMR) regarding these employees and to provide ambulance service to Henry County.
The work session purpose is to discuss future building plans for the county.
