Paris, Tenn.–Ronald Cummings of Paris has been charged with 14 more counts of sexual exploitation of a minor by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, which is still investigating the case. Sheriff Josh Frey said there is a possibility more charges will be filed.
Cummings appeared for his arraignment in General Sessions Court Tuesday and his case was reset for October 8. The court appointed Huntingdon Attorney Mark Maddox to represent him.
His bond remains at $50,000.
The case was a fast-moving one, with social media posts on Facebook over the weekend referencing photos of women’s photos with sexual comments post on them.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office posted Sunday afternoon: “These pictures appear to have been taken from others social media pages. We are actively investigating the social media page and ask the public to please contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division if you’ve seen a minor child picture with any type of comment on the post. We also ask that you refrain from sharing the original post.”
Frey said, “We ask anyone that has information about this case please contact Henry County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division at 731-642-1672.”
