Dresden, Tenn.–TDCI Commissioner Carter Lawrence and the State Fire Marshal’s Office team spent time last week honoring West Tennessee volunteer fire departments and rescue squads who received grants through our Volunteer Firefighter Equipment and Training Grant and Rescue Squad Grant programs.
Last Thursday (Sept. 19) in Martin, they honored VFDs and rescue squads in Lake, Obion, Weakley, Henry, Dyer Gibson, and Carroll counties with grants totaling $1.56 million.
