Paris, Tenn.–A Henry County man is being held on $50,000 bond following his arrest on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.
The case was a fast-moving one, with social media posts on Facebook over the weekend referencing photos of women’s photos with sexual comments post on them.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is aware of the social media post that was circulating of several women’s pictures that included sexual comments. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office posted earlier Sunday afternoon: “These pictures appear to have been taken from others social media pages. We are actively investigating the social media page and ask the public to please contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division if you’ve seen a minor child picture with any type of comment on the post. We also ask that you refrain from sharing the original post.”
In a follow-up, the sheriff’s office issued a press release mid-afternoon stating that Ronald Cummings has been arrested and booked into the Henry County Jail. He was charged by investigators with sexual exploitation of a minor with a court date of 9-24-24 and his bond is currently set at 50,000.
This case is still an ongoing investigation with more charges expected.
