Shawn “Fish” Salmon, 40, of Puryear, TN, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at his residence.
He enjoyed playing video games, fishing, and just being with friends. Shawn loved Legos and was able to go to Legoland in February through the Make a Wish Foundation. He loved life, his dog: Blueberry, and was a member of Puryear Baptist Church.
Shawn was born December 31, 1983, in Ft. Carson, CO, to the late William Loyd Salmon and Marion “Sissy” Salmon of Puryear, TN.
Along with his mother, he is also survived by his sister, Amanda (Jay) Lane of Buchanan, TN; one nephew, Michael Lane; one niece, Teriana Lane; two uncles, Buster (Kim) Myrick of Buchanan, TN, and Shayne (Kim) Salmon of Trezevant, TN; and two great aunts, Linda Taylor of Puryear, TN, and Ann (Pat) Overcast.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Friday, September 20, 2024, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 6:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with David O’Brien and Chad Kennedy officiating.
Cremation will follow the service.
