Henry, Tenn.–It’s that time. Time again for the Henry Pioneer Day, which is a fundraiser for the Henry Volunteer Fire Department.
Day-long activities are set for Saturday, September 21, starting with the parade at noon. Organizers said they expect the largest parade they’ve ever had this year. Candy will be flying! And they gave a special thank you to Commercial Bank of Paris for their support in the Pioneer Day this year!
The parade will start at the Henry School and wind up at the Civic Center, where the rest of the activities will take place: music, food, bingo, bounce houses, petting zoo, smash-a-car, cake walk, Air Evac helicopter, raffle, face painting, Jaws of Life demo. The day will end with a fireworks show.
They are still accepting baked goods for the cake walk.
Would you be interested in donating a baked good? You can drop your donated items off at the Henry City Hall at 1232 Pioneer Rd in Henry from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM or drop them at the fire station Saturday morning at 55 Park Drive. They ask that you please write your name/company name on it and what it is on the tag please.
