Paris, Tenn.–The Department of Workforce and Labor will be in Paris Friday to make a presentation on what resources are available to people with a criminal record and how they might be of help to them gaining employment.
Court Clerk Mike Wilson said, “This is a topic that I hear discussed a lot in and around our courts. Our judges, probation, law enforcement, citizens, and local employers often want to see our defendants successfully find employment which often is the restart they need.”
This presentation is for ANYONE within our judicial community or outside our judicial community. Anyone who has an interest in helping or knowing about how someone with a criminal record can seek employment.
