Mineral Wells Animal Clinic Provides Microchip Scanner 24/7 For Public

mineral-wells-microchip

Paris, Tenn.–Mineral Wells Animal Clinic in Paris has installed a microchip scanner that is available to the community 24 hours every day, seven days a week.
The impetus for it was the number of people who find stray animals after business hours and want to scan the animal for a microchip to return it to its home.
Michelle Hopkins of Mineral Wells Animal Clinic said the mailbox at the front door has everything you will need: instructions on how to use the scanner, numbers to local shelters, website info for if you do find a stray with a chip and how to look it up.
The scanner IS under video surveillance so please do the right thing and leave it at the front for everyone to use.
Hopkins said, “We will not tolerate strays being left at the clinic. We need room for hospitalization patients. If you took the responsibility to pick up a stray then be sure you can care for it until the owner is found and or you can take it to the appropriate shelter.”
The good people at Mineral Wells Animal Clinic hope that members of our community appreciate this service and use it wisely.
