Paris, Tenn.–Downtown Paris will be the place to be Saturday evening for the 26th annual Henry County Relay for Life event. The event will be held from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, September 14, on the court square.
There will be dozens of local teams serving good food and organizing games and activities and there will be a Kid Zone and live music from the “Good Enough For Free” band. DJ Good News –also known as Dallas Jackson–also will be on hand with his good music to set the mood.
The theme this year is “No Space For Cancer”. This event is an evening to honor the survivors, remember those we’ve lost to cancer, AND to celebrate our hard work over the past year of fundraising,” Tracey Beasley said.
They are still in need for canned goods for our Luminaries. If you would like to donate some canned goods, please drop them off at Campbell Therapy Center (109 Commerce St.) or at Beasley Antenna & Satellite, Inc. (440 Fairgrounds Rd.). Both locations are open until 5 pm today & tomorrow. All canned goods will be donated to The Little Pantries of Henry County.
A list of the Luminaries for this year and who they honor is on the Relay for Life of Henry County Facebook page.
