Downtown Paris Will Be Alive With Activities Saturday For Relay

Paris, Tenn.–There is a lot to look forward to Saturday evening in downtown Paris as the 26th annual Henry County Relay for Life will be showcasing over a dozen teams with a wide variety of good food and activities for everyone.
The event will be Tracey Beasley of Relay provided a map showing where the teams will be set up. West Washington and North Poplar St. will be closed off.
The schedule will be: 3-5 p.m. set up; 5 p.m., opening ceremony; 5:30 p.m., Survivor’s Lap around the courthouse; 5:30-6:30 p.m. live music by “Good Enough For Free”; 6:30 p.m. DJ Mr. Good News (Dallas Jackson); 7:30 p.m. Luminaria Ceremony; and 8:45 p.m. Closing Ceremony.
The teams will be providing a good variety from baked goods to noodles, to fresh seafood, to BBQ Bologna, ice cream, fried honey bunrs and more. There will be two Kids Zones with a petting zoo, face painting, bouncy houses and more.

*First United Methodist Church – Fruit Cobbler and Fruit Tea
*Kid Zone Stop #1 – Face Painting and Llama, Llama Petting Zoo
*Commercial Bank – Pictures in Space Photo Booth
*PML – Yakisoba Noodles, Hot Dogs, Chips, and Drinks
*Paris BPU – BBQ Balogna Meals (Sandwich, Chips & Drink)
*West Cancer Care Center – Face Painting and Glitter Hair Tinsel
*Geeber’s Food Truck – Lemonade & More!
*Deep South Seafood – Bringing fresh shrimp, crawfish & gator straight to you!
*Henry Baptist Church – Baked Goods
*Kid Zone Stop #2 – Bouncy Houses
Entertainment will be provided by Good Enough for Free and Dallas “DJ Good News” Jackson.
