Jackson, Tenn.–It is with heavy hearts that the passing of West Tennessee Healthcare President and CEO James “JR” Ross is reported by West Tennessee officials. He passed away this morning.
In May, Ross addressed members of the public, the Henry County Medical Center (HCMC) board, and county officials at a meeting during the lengthy negotiations over the lease of HCMC by West Tennessee Healthcare
West Tennessee Officials said this afternoon, “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Ross family as they grieve and we would ask that everyone respect their privacy. The Board of Trustees and the leadership team are in prayer for all of our West Tennessee Healthcare family and medical staff members as we navigate through this difficult time. We will be providing more information once arrangements are finalized.”
