Cottage Grove, Tenn.–The Henry County Airport in Cottage Grove had a little visit from the black bear that has been traveling through West Tennessee and West Kentucky.
Henry County Sheriff Josh Frey confirmed that the bear was seen near the airport this morning and that TWRA officials are aware of it.
Photos of the traveling bear were posted today on Facebook by Air Evac which has a headquarters at the Airport. They said, “If you see the bear out please do not try and feed it. TWRA is aware and tracking it.”
The photos were taken by the crews at the base.
