Henry, Tenn.–Henry Fire was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries at 10:25 PM Saturday. Firefighters responded to the 1400 block of Macedonia Rd. to find a truck flipped over on its top with one patient trapped. The team extricated the patient and assisted EMS with loading. EMS transported the patient to HCMC helipad where they were flown to a nearby trauma center in stable condition. The cause of the incident is being investigated by THP. Also assisting was the Henry County Sheriffs Office and the 911 dispatchers.
Henry Fire officials said, “We’d like to note that the “jaws of life” used to remove this patient was made possible because of the support we receive at our fundraisers such as Pioneer Day. We would like to invite you to Pioneer Day 2024 Sept 21st at the Henry Civic Center. Activities include Bingo, Cake Walk, Bounce Houses, Petting zoo, Parade(starts at 12), live music and a firework show.”
