Union City, Tenn.–The Union City Kiwanis Club recognized five UC High Schoolers with Student of the Month honors for September on Thursday.
Among those receiving accolades were: (see related photo)

Sophomore: Brandt Huffstutter, son of Robert and Michelle Huffstutter
Senior: Khloe James, daughter of Ben and Nikki Hardin
Student Achiever: DeAngelo Monroe, son of Tamakieta Monroe and the late Deandrez Monroe
Junior: Rushdon Howell, son of Jessica Wagoner
Freshman: Elizabeth Del-Castillio, daughter of Jennifer Watkins
Those recognized were chosen by UCHS faculty and staff.
The group was formally recognized at the local civic club’s regular luncheon at the Exchange Street Church of Christ.
