Martin, Tenn.–Lisa Hubbard, a teacher at E.W. Grove School in Paris, is taking part in the fall 2024 WestTeach leadership program at the University of Tennessee at Martin. WestTeach held its first program earlier this week, a look into agriculture and entrepreneurship, on Aug. 26 and 27. There will be four more programs throughout the semester throughout West Tennessee, including the Dec. 10 graduation program at UT Martin. WestTeach is the premier leadership program for teachers in the 21 counties in West Tennessee and is a function of the university’s WestStar Leadership Program. Its mission is to engage and equip West Tennessee teachers with tools and leadership skills for success in and outside of the classroom.
