Paris, Tenn.–There are two weeks to go before the Henry County Relay for Life event, set for Saturday, September 14th on the courtsquare. This year’s Relay for Life event is scheduled from 5-9 p.m. and the theme this year is “NO SPACE FOR CANCER”.
The courtsquare will be lined with luminarias in honor of someone fighting cancer or in memory of someone who lost their battle. Luminarias can be also purchased in honor of a caregiver.
Tracy Beasley of Relay said, “Luminarias can be purchased for a minimum donation of $5. Forms and luminary bags can be picked up at Beasley Antenna & Satellite (440 Fairgrounds Rd.), Campbell Therapy Clinic (109 Commerce St.), Cancer Care Center (1209 Kelley Dr.) or Paris Family Chiropractic Clinic (1203 E Wood St.) or from any Relay for Life Committee member.”
