Former Bethel University President Dr. Robert D. Prosser has died at the age of 83 years old
Dr. Prosser died Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Henry Co. Medical Center. He was a Cumberland Presbyterian Minister and the former President of Bethel University.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.
He is survived by his wife Tony Waker Prosser, a daughter Cynthia (Scott) Bowker of Nashville, son Steve (Rina) Prosser of Henry, a sister Mary (Wally)Bunton of LaFeria, TX, seven grandchildren Colby Prosser, Shelby (Andrew) Shankle, Luke Prosser, Abbey Prosser, Josh Neinaber, Zachary Neinaber and Sarabeth Neinaber and three great-grandchildren Boone Shankle, Sawyer Hampton and Haylen Shankle.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Forest Prosser.
