Time Running Out To Experience Nature With LEGO Bricks

dpa-lego-sundial

Union City, Tenn.–There is less than a week left to experience “Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects: Made with LEGO® Bricks” exhibit at Discovery Park. Time is running out to explore what it took to build these LEGO brick masterpieces.
Take the sundial for example – this sculpture consists of 27,869 LEGO bricks and took 140 hours to complete. The last day to see all 19 sculptures is Labor Day from 10 a.m-4 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 2 is also the last day that we will be open on Mondays before switching to low season hours.
Thank you to Leaders Credit Union for sponsoring this award-winning, traveling exhibition.

A guest favorite of the 19 sculptures is the “Monarch on Milkweed.” Rightfully so, as this 60,549-piece sculpture took Kenney the longest to complete, a whopping 377 hours.
