Paris, Tenn.–A large crowd gathered for a ribbon-cutting at B & G Equipment, which is newly-rebuilt after the devastating fire destroyed its former business last year. B&G Equipment has been a family-owned business since 1978 and was destroyed by a massive fire in March of 2023. Interim Paris-Henry County Chamber Director Rachel Steedley said, “After facing the unimaginable loss of their building due to fire, the resilience and determination of this incredible team have led to a full rebuild, and today, we’re celebrating…B & G Equipment has shown what it means to rise from the ashes, and we’re proud to support this local business that has served our community so well.” It rebuilt at its old location at 2816 Hwy. 54, Paris. B&G will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. Lance Pierce photo/Forever Communications.
