Dover, Tenn.–The Stewart County Sheriff’s Office Litter Pickup Crew is still going on, although it has been limited by staffing issues, hot weather and inmate numbers. Sheriff Frankie Gray said, “When possible the inmate pickup crew is out picking up trash and often time it’s on secondary roads. Last Thursday August 15th the inmates removed over 500 lbs. of trash from our roadways. Great work by our inmates and Correction Officers.”
