Union City, Tenn.–The Union City Tennessee Fire Department is partnering with Discovery Park of America for the annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Saturday, Sept. 7. First responders, in full gear, will climb the Cooper Tower staircase 10 times, the equivalent of the World Trade Center’s 110 stories. This has become an annual event for area first responders.

The stair climb, held in conjunction with National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, is open to current and former members of the fire service, police force, EMS and military.
