
Ms. Frances B. Nichols Cochrum, age 95, of Paris, Tennessee passed away Friday, August 9, 2024, at Huntingdon Health and Rehab.
Her funeral service will be 12 P.M. Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Scott of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Named as pallbearers are Justin Nichols, Jase Nichols, Shawn Nichols, Daniel Bonar, Eugene Nichols, and Randy McCarty. Burial will follow the service in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled after 10 A.M. Wednesday until time of service at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Frances Burdin Nichols Cochrum was born July 3, 1929, in Henry County, Tennessee to the late William H. Burdin and the late Mary Alice French Burdin. She married Vernal Nichols on March 23, 1946, and he preceded her in death on February 13, 1990; she married Harold Cochrum on April 26, 1998, and he also preceded her in death on October 31, 2005. Frances is survived by her sons, Eugene (Dana) Nichols and Ronnie Nichols, all of Paris; grandchildren, Amy Joann Nichols, Shawn Lee Nichols, and Justin Daniel Nichols; great-grandchildren, Lily & Finn Bonar and Jase & Jentry Nichols. She also leaves behind numerous friends, including her close circle at Chateau Maurice.
Besides her parents and spouses, Frances is also preceded in death by her sister, Mable Hendrickson and brother, William Douglas Burdin who was KIA-WWII.
Ms. Cochrum was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She retired from Holley Carburetor in Paris and was a former sitter for the sick.
