Huntingdon, Tenn.–A large crowd was on hand for the Grand Opening of the Carroll County Inclusion Park Saturday. The Inclusion Park is located across from the Civic Center in Huntingdon and is intended as a place where all children can play.
The combined high school bands of McKenzie, Huntingdon, West Carroll, and Central came together to play at the event and a number of local officials were on hand, including Carroll County Mayor Joseph Butler, State Rep. Brock Martin, State Sen. John Stevens, Huntingdon Mayor Nina Smothers, McKenzie Mayor Ryan Griffin, as well as the organizers of the park. A sign language interpreter also was present.
The crowd was impressed with all the equipment that makes the playground come alive and the amenities, including a full-size changing table.
