Paris, Tenn.-Krider Performing Arts Center is offering a community choir opportunity titled “A Night of Praise” for teens and adults.
KPAC Director Rhonda Station said, “We have developed ‘A Night of Praise’ as a fabulous short-term choir experience for adults and teens to come and learn together, then present to the public on Saturday, September 21 at 7 PM. The musicians will be great, and there are only five rehearsals: Mondays from 6:30 – 8:00 pm on August 12, 19, 26 and September 9 and 16. Participation is free as is admission to the event. No audition is required.”
The repertoire will include gospel and worship songs from “Peace in the Valley” through “The Goodness of God” and many favorite songs in the intervening years. Stanton said, “This is a marvelous opportunity for parents and grandparents and teens to sing together. We hope that friends will reach out and sing with friends, and we expect that new friendships will be made”.
