
Union City, Tenn- The annual Obion County Fair will open Friday, August 16th with the theme “Our Freedom, Our Farmers, Our Fair.”
The fair will run August 16-24, with a 2-night rodeo kicking things off. Saturday also features multiple pageants for various age groups, from infancy to 21, starting at 4 p.m.
Other notable events during the week include the Poultry Show & Auction, Junior Livestock Show and Sale, Warren Montgomery and DeRailed performing on Wednesday night, Truck and Tractor Pull on Friday Night, and the Demolition Derby on Saturday night to cap things off.
Admission for the fair is $5, but patrons must buy tickets or an armband for individual carnival rides. Tuesday and Thursday at the fair will be “pay one price” nights, where attendees can pay a flat rate of $20 for admission which includes carnival rides. Season tickets are also available for $30 and allow admission to the fair each night.
