Union City, Tenn.–Teachers in the Obion County Schools system have been busy with professional development, hosted by Obion County Central High School, preparing for the new school year.
Director of Schools Tim Watkins said, “A huge thank you to Autry’s for cooking a delicious breakfast to start our day off right! We also want to extend our gratitude to Troy First Baptist Church for cooking our Tyson chicken to perfection!”
Watkins addressed the teachers, congratulating them on last year’s achievements and offering inspiring words of advice for the upcoming school year. Dr. Greg Barclay, Assistant Director of Schools, recognized new teachers, as well as last year’s Teachers of the Year and Administrators of the Year.
