
Murray, Ky.–While investigating the theft of an electric bike, officers with the Murray Police Department gained information of its location.
Upon arrival, the stolen e-bike was found to be in the possession of Tristan Rau, age 19, of Murray, KY. Further investigation led to the recovery of a second stolen e-bike. For both of these thefts, Mr. Rau was charged with one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking of a Bicycle $1,000-$10,000 and one count of Theft by Unlawful taking of a Bicycle $500 – $1,000. Mr. Rau was arrested and lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
