Charles Arthur Walther, 84, passed away July 22, 2024, at his residence in Brentwood, Tennessee.
He was born on August 11, 1939, in Hawaii.
Charles graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1962 and entered the U.S. Navy. Charles was a disabled veteran. He worked for Tennessee Department of Revenue for 31 years. Charles was such a caring, loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by his family.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Maude Crow Walther; son, Michael Scott Walther; grandson, Dr. Charles R. Crow.
He leaves behind his loving and devoted family, wife of 59 years, Korine Greenhill Walther; son, Charles Robertson Walther, Brentwood, TN; grandchildren, Emma Laurell Walther and Charles Michael Walther; brother, Richard L (Karen) Motzer; nephew, Rich Motzer, Knoxville, TN and his pet Charlie who spent his day and night beside him.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Dover, TN on July 26, 2024 at 11:00 am. Family and friends will serve pallbearers.
