
Nashville, Tenn.–The second suspect in the shooting of a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper over the weekend is now in custody, too. And like the first suspect arrested, he was taken into custody wearing the trooper’s handcuffs.
Timothy L. Davis Jr. was arrested in Davidson County and is being transported to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office jail where he will be booked on charges related to the shooting of Trooper Adam Cothron. Trooper Cothron remains in critical condition.

Law enforcement placed Trooper Adam Cothron’s handcuffs on Timothy L. Davis Jr. He will wear these handcuffs on his way to booking.
Earlier, Braze Rucker, the passenger of the Kia Forte used in the shooting of Trooper Cothron was extradited back to Tennessee from Kentucky where he was transported to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office jail.
