Whit “Buddy” Wallace, 86, of Big Rock, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Alive Hospice, Nashville, Tennessee, with loved ones by his side.
He was born on January 14, 1938 the son of the late Whit and Mertie Dennis Wallace in Stewart County, TN. Buddy, as he was so loving referred to, was a loving friend and never met a stranger. He enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and loyal friend to everyone.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna Dimple Wallace; precious daughter; Rebecca Jo Fletcher, one brother and four sisters.
Buddy leaves behind his family who loved him deeply, Jimmy Wallace; grandchildren; Keith Wallace, Justin Fletcher, Jessica Wallace and great grandchildren; Payton Wallace, sisters; Thelma Ezell and Helen Morris.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 for 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 am until the funeral service at 1:00 pm with Bro. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Payton Wallace, Ricky Joiner, Don Earhart, Eddie Haun, Shannon Conway and Wayne Wallace. Honorary pallbearers are Keith Wallace and Justin Fletcher.
