Dresden, Tenn.–The Weakley County Sheriff’s Office would like to introduce Sgt. Ryan Schaeffer and K9 Martha. Sgt. Schaeffer has been in law enforcement for six years, five of those being at the Weakley County Sheriff’s Office. Sgt. Schaeffer traveled to Florida to train with and receive K9 Martha. Martha is a bloodhound who specializes in tracking missing and wanted persons. The Sheriff’s office would like to thank Find-M’ Friends, Inc. for Martha and the training given to Sgt. Schaeffer while in Florida. Martha and Sgt. Schaeffer are NNDDA certified. “We look forward to their bright futures and continued success.”
