Martin, Tenn.–James Scates (left) and Maddox Dunn, both graduates of Union City High School, visited the University of Tennessee at Martin July 12 to take part in the university’s Summer Orientation And Registration (SOAR) event. SOAR is a one-day orientation experience that is designed to introduce new students to UT Martin and ease their transition into college life.
