Graves County, Ky.–A Union City man was injured in a rollover accident on the Purchase Parkway early this morning.
According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 5:45 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 1 Dispatch received a call of an injury collision near the 9 Mile Marker of the Purchase Parkway.
Deputy Austin Ramage responded along with other first responders.
The preliminary investigation revealed Samuel Montgomery of Union City, TN, fell asleep behind the wheel. He struck a divider on the bridge and his vehicle rolled approximately four times before stopping on the bridge. Mr. Montgomery was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for minor injuries.
