Paris, Tenn.–A full house was on hand for the appearance Wednesday evening of former University of Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs at the “Night of Champions” at the Krider Performing Arts Center in Paris. Dobbs is currently a quarterback with the 49ers.
The event was sponsored by the First Baptist Church in Paris and was moderated by the Rev. Trent Bullock. The event was opened to the public.
Dobbs told about his time playing football and how it was impacted by his faith. All the local football teams were at the event, as well as some from neighboring counties. Dobbs spoke at length about the importance of education and faith. An aerospace engineer, he graduated in four years in a five-year program.
