Weakley County, Tenn.–A Weakley County accident Saturday evening claimed the lives of a McKenzie couple.
Derrick Potter, age 33, and Elisha Potter, age 31, were riding on a motorcycle in Weakley County when the wreck occurred.
According to the preliminary report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:55 p.m. Saturday. The Potters were northbound on Brawners Road on a 1992 Harley Davidson and a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado with three persons on board was westbound on State Route 124 when they collided.
Derrick Potter was driving the motorcycle and Elisha was the passenger and both were wearing helmets.
In the other vehicle, Jeffrey Harrison, age 54, was driving, with passengers Aimee Hoskins, age 34, and Chad Hoskins, age 30. Harrison and Aimee Hoskins were both injuried, but Chad Hoskins was not. All were wearing seat belts.
The report only states that the persons in the Harrison vehicle were from Tennessee, but does not give a city.
No charges have been filed in the collision.
