Troopers with Kentucky State Police are searching for a woman who was recently released from a western Kentucky jail. Twenty-six year old, Shannon Charles, was last seen on July 1st when she was discharged from Ballard County Detention Center. Family states that Charles is unfamiliar with the area and does not have a cell phone. She was last seen wearing a white tee shirt, green pants and orange crocs style shoes. She was last seen with braided hair. Family state that Charles is trying to get back to Grayson (Carter County).
