Cottage Grove, Tenn.–The Cottage Grove 49th 4th of July Freedom Festival will be held all day Thursday, July 4 and as usual, it will be chock full of activities to celebrate Independence Day. The festival features a parade that starts at 10 a.m., followed by the cake walk, corn hole contest, cake walk, great grilled burgers and ice cream, International Firehouse supper, a vendor show, games on the walking trail, DJ and music.
Fireworks start at 9 p.m.
This is a fundraiser for the Cottage Grove Volunteer Fire Department.
The Cottage Grove Fire Department is hosting a vendor show during the Freedom Festival. It will be from 10-4 on the Cardinal Park walking trail, just as last year. Please send name/business name, address, contact phone number and $20 to Cottage Grove Fire Department, P. O. Box 65, Cottage Grove, TN 38224. Cottage Grove, TN to reserve a spot. You will need to bring a canopy, tables and everything you will need.
