Paris, Tenn.–Outgoing Interim Paris-Henry County Chamber Director Rachel Steedly was presented with the Loyal Patriot Award at this morning’s Chamber board meeting.
This award is the highest honor that can be bestowed on a citizen of Henry County.
Mayor Ridgeway praised Steedly for thework she has performed while serving as interim director. Ridgeway said, “I can not thank Rachel enough for the work she has done for this entire community. She has gone above and beyond in all she has done. The Chamber would certainly not be in the position it is today without her leadership.”
Steedly recently expressed her desire to the board to not transition to the permanent Executive Director position in order to devote more time to her family. Rachel, along with husband Adam, has three sons, Harrison (15), Andrew (11) and Tucker (4).
