Paris, Tenn.–Over $11,500 was raised for the Henry County Carl Perkins Child Abuse Prevention Program at the annual Cheeseburgers at the Breakers event Friday night.
Director Carly Wheat said, “Cheeseburger at Breakers 2024 was such a fun event. It was hot, but that did not stop from selling out to a packed Breakers.”
From the 90s style calendar auction to a $400 song performed by Allie French and Randall French, the night was nothing but spectacular, she said.
Many thanks to Breakers Marina for the venue, Randall French, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office grilling crew, staff, Board Members, CPIT members, and volunteers who made this night such a success. All tables were sold out.
Our big village came out to support our mission, Wheat said.
Awards were given to Board Member and Child Protection Investigative Team (CPIT) members for their hard work and dedication.
