
Jenna Spivey Allen, 90, of Paris, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Charter Senior Living of Paris.
Her memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Paris Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Everette Holloway officiating.
Jenna Allen was born October 5, 1933, in Sikeston, MO to the late Elmes Hilton Spivey and the late Nancy Dona Martin. On April 12, 1953, she married Wayne Allen who also preceded her in death.
Jenna was a devout Christian, and faithful and loving wife for 70 years. She spent her life working in youth ministry, publishing, women’s retreats, and so much more, even learning how to fly a plane! From a very young age, she enjoyed music more than anything, and she was wildly talented with various instruments, most known for the piano, accordion, and her beautiful voice. She was a beautiful angel on this Earth, bringing love and blessings to everyone she met.
Jenna is survived by her daughter, Carla Clay of Aurora, CO; two grandchildren: Brittney Allen of Denver, CO and Bobby Clay of Aurora, CO; great-grandchild, Robby Clay of Aurora, CO; sister, Patricia Hooker of IL; two brothers: Virlin Spivey of SC and James Spivey of TN; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Jenna was also preceded in death by three sisters: Marjorie Hopkins, Delicia Bagwell, and Elsie Russel.
