Union City, Tenn.–Among the many end-of-the-year field trips taken by Union City Schools students, an excursion to Discovery Park of America by 3rd graders at UCES ranked highly.
“Our students had the best time playing and learning!” teacher Randi Lynn Moore said. “They all represented Union City Schools so well by treating all employees, exhibits, and other students with the utmost respect.
“We are so grateful to have such an amazing place to visit right here in our hometown. We’re also thankful for the Kirkland Scholarship that allowed our students to participate at no personal cost to them.”
Students enjoyed the many sights, sounds, and features of DPA during their day-long visit.
Summing up their experience, upon leaving, one student looked at their teacher with a huge smile and said: “This has been the best day ever. I am so glad I am here.”
