Murial Lois Norwood, 91, of Paris, Tennessee, died Thursday, June 13, 2024, at AHC of Paris.
Muriel was born Wednesday, May 11, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Henry Gauthier and the late Olga Stone Gauthier. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son: Allen T. Walters.
She worked for many years as a manager in the retail business and later worked as a sitter with the elderly in Paris.
Muriel enjoyed life and loved people.
She was a member of Ray of Hope Christian Fellowship.
She was married Saturday, June 29, 1974, to John Norwood, who preceded her in death Wednesday, February 10, 1988.
She is survived by one sister: Pearl Ridel; one grandson: Trevor Allen Walters, of MI; two nieces: Holly Myers, of MI, and Mana Cleaver, of TN; one nephew: Randy Norwood, of KY; one stepsister: Mary Ruth Gautier; and three step-nieces: Vicky, Renee, and Susan.

The body is to be cremated with graveside memorial service to be held at a later date at Shiloh Cemetery in Mansfield, TN.
